TV -DOCUMENTARIES

Rapid River’s documentary is the summer of 2016, the “Kitkajoki-rakas joki”, internationally titled “Light in the Wilderness”. The film received gold in 2017 at the WorldMediaFestival Film Series at the International Media Competition in Germany and was also awarded the Magic Eye, a special Grand Prize for its pictures.

In France, the film received an honorable mention of “Creative Excellence” at the 2018 Duaville Green Awards.

The film tells about the relationship between man and nature through the aphorisms of the writer Reino Rinne. The rare light of the Kitkajoki River and the seasonal variations in the videos shot by Tauno Kohonen emphasize the importance of clean nature for all of us.
